OUR PURPOSE

At the F.O.U. Sober Living Home, our purpose is to bring light to the darkness many of us once lived in—by empowering our community and providing hope, support, and resources to those struggling with chemical dependency. We are committed to reaching the lost at any cost through faith, accountability, and love.

We work in close collaboration with local Courts, Parole and Probation Departments, and individuals who were formerly incarcerated. Together, we provide a pathway toward restoration, stability, and transformation.

OUR FOUNDATION

We are a Bible-based home rooted in the message, plan, and hope of Jesus Christ. Faith is the cornerstone of everything we do. Alongside spiritual development, we integrate proven recovery programs such as AA/NA, Celebrate Recovery, and mental diversion therapy—all designed to foster healing and personal growth.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Our home operates free of charge and has no waiting list.
Participants must be physically able to work to help offset living costs.

Restrictions include:
• No arson or sex offenses
• No psychiatric medications (we are not a medical facility)
• No drugs, alcohol, smoking, gang activity, phones, or electronics
• Agreement to random urinalysis, breathalyzer, and property searches

Program Duration: The first phase of recovery lasts between 9 to 12 months.

Meet The Team

Salilo Moimoi

Program Director

My journey began with Victory Outreach Escondido (V.O.E.), where I enrolled in 2000 after spending 10 years in prison. Through V.O.E., I learned the values of becoming a Godly father, husband, and brother. It restored my dignity and taught me humility, surrender, integrity, and honesty. When Pastor David Escovedo passed and the COVID-19 pandemic hit, our church faced significant challenges. In April of this year, V.O.E. closed its doors permanently. As a member of the F.O.U. Movement for the past two years, I felt a strong conviction not to let the men in our home be left without direction or shelter. With the support of the F.O.U. leadership and the homeowner, we transitioned the home under the F.O.U. Movement’s 501(c)(3) status—continuing the mission as the F.O.U. Sober Living Home. My only goal in doing this was, and remains, to glorify my Father in Heaven by continuing His kingdom work through service, faith, and transformation.
